Below is Rule 605 of the Federal Rules of Evidence. Rule 605 deals with Competency of Judge as Witness, and is indexed under ARTICLE VI, dealing with WITNESSES.

The judge presiding at the trial may not testify in that trial as a witness. No objection need be made in order to preserve the point.
